Hello everyone!
For the past year, we have all encountered unpreventable changes in our lives due to the global, we are all fortunate in the ways we have been able to manage the risks to the lowest level. Many of us were fortunate enough to stay in school. This is a privilege and advantage. Whether you have encountered it or not, more than 220 thousands of people have lost their job since COVID-19 has sent Canada into lockdown, and tens of millions of people are at risk of losing their homes and education due to low-income.
If you have been looking for ways to help, or to show your support for others, we would like to invite you to join us in raising fund for UNICEF Canada through the 2021 Canada Youth Visual Art Contest (https://aoma.ca/cyvac/). It is a competition organized by us, Youth Initiative of Vancouver. YIV (YIV, https://aoma.ca/youth-initiative-vancouver/ ) is a non-profit volunteer-based student organization in Vancouver, and has provided free tutoring lessons to children throughout Canada during the pandemic. As a co-organizer of a renowned art competition for 5 years, we aim to inspire children experience creativity and express individuality through art. Along with hosting the Canada Youth Visual Art Contest this year, we aim to raise $1500 CAD for UNICEF Canada to result in a greater impact to children and families in need.

在过去的一年里，我们都有为了反抗病毒而改变自己原本生活的规律，但值得庆幸的是在大家的共同努力之下，我们能将风险控制到最低水平！另外，大部分的人还是可以回到学校上课，这是一种特权和优势。自从COVID-19 迫使加拿大进入全城封锁状态以来，已有超过 22 万人失业，数以千万计的人面临因低收入而失去家园和教育的风险！
如果你想资助或者支援那些此时正在困境的儿童和家庭，我们热烈地邀请你一起与加拿大联合国儿童基金会（UNICEF Canada）在2021年加拿大国际青少年视觉艺术大赛（https://aoma.ca/cyvac/）共同筹集资金！这一场是由我们单位主办的国际艺术大赛，Youth Initiative of Vancouver。YIV（YIV, https://aoma.ca/youth-initiative-vancouver/ ）是由来自温哥华志愿参与的学生们共同组办的非营利组织。在疫情期间，YIV为不同年龄段的孩子提供免费的线上教程。作为有5年经历的著名艺术比赛的协办单位，我们的意图是想启发孩子们的想象力以及给予他们一个可以通过原创作品而充分展现自我特长的良好平台。随着今年举办2021年加拿大青年视觉艺术大赛，我们的目标是为加拿大联合国儿童基金会（UNICEF Canada）筹集 1500 加币，以及对有需要的儿童和家庭产生更大的影响和援手！
