Donate To Give Children Around The World Access To Clean Water!!!
Hello everyone!
I've decided to host a fundraiser in support of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) programs through UNICEF Canada. I will be walking 7.3 kilometres, from my house to the CN Tower, carrying buckets of water, to raise awareness for kids who do not have access to clean water.
UNICEF works in over 100 countries to improve water supplies in schools and communities, promote safe hygiene practices, and give children a sense of empowerment and possibility. Women and girls bear the heaviest burden in water collection, often undertaking long, unsafe journeys to collect water. This leads to missing out on education, as well as increased risk of disease. Globally, 2.4 billion people lack access to improved sanitation facilities, and 663 million people use unsafe drinking water sources. And when an emergency strikes, UNICEF is the global lead on WASH so that children can stay safe. All this is possible because of donor support. That's why I'm asking for your help. My campaign is about ensuring children not only have a chance to survive, but to thrive into adulthood.
I've chosen UNICEF because they reach the farthest for children in need. Last year, UNICEF reached 45 million people with safe water sources and another 22 million with improved sanitation. It's amazing what fundraising can do! But millions of children are still without safe water, and this has to change.
My campaign is focused on helping the most vulnerable children access clean water. To help raise awareness for this important issue, on June 22nd, 2024, I will be walking 7.3 kilometres, from my house to the CN Tower, carrying buckets of water. Please join me and donate so we can reach and help children everywhere.
Thank you for your support! Lets make a difference.

For every child.
UNICEF works in over 190 countries around the world. In response to a disaster, UNICEF helps ensure that affected children and families can get clean water, that there are safe spaces for children, that education and health services can continue, that trauma and psychosocial support are addressed and that basic humanitarian supplies are distributed.
