It is with immense humbleness that we invite you on a journey of unity and humanity - For the Children.

October 7, 2023, turned the world upside down as the world witnessed a horrific attack on Israel. Hundreds were murdered, abused, and kidnapped. There is not a day that we don’t wish and advocate for the safe release of the hostages. Our heart aches for the children who remain captured, and we implore and pray daily for the healing of those who have suffered and are still bearing this unthinkable brutality.  

What followed this traumatic incident has also left the world immensely broken. The Gaza Strip entered one of the worst humanitarian crises of our lifetime through the war that followed and "Gaza became a graveyard for children".

While these two circumstances have deeply divided many around the world, most of us are uniting on the principles of love and humanity.  No child should be held hostage or used by any means in armed conflict. No child should be cut off from essential services, nor fall from the reach of humanitarian hands.  

The Children in Gaza need Lifesaving Support

The escalation of hostilities in the Gaza Strip is having a catastrophic impact on children and families. Children are dying at an alarming rate – thousands have been killed and thousands more injured. Around 1.7 million people in the Gaza Strip are estimated to have been internally displaced – half of them children. They do not have enough access to water, food, fuel and medicine. Their homes have been destroyed; their families torn apart. Famine is imminent in the Gaza strip. UNICEF is working closely with partners to rush emergency humanitarian aid to children caught in conflict in Gaza.

Today we are inviting you to unite for humanity.  

As survivors of wars and genocides we are uniting for the children. Because we were once children in these circumstances, we have understood the importance and the value of ALL HUMAN LIVES. And that “In all wars it is children who suffer first and suffer most.”  

This page has been put together by a group of individuals from all backgrounds and orientations who survived wars and genocides during their childhood and are choosing to unite of humanity and the survival and wellbeing of all children.
