Devastating Earthquakes Hit Syria and south-east Türkiye

Hello!

We have decided to host a fundraiser in support of children and families affected by the earthquakes that Hit Syria and south-east Türkiye.

In the morning of February 6, a 7.7 magnitude earthquake hit south-east Türkiye and Syria, followed by a second 7.5 magnitude earthquake later in the day. Thousands of people have lost their lives, with the death toll likely to increase. Many more have been injured, and thousands of homes are damaged or destroyed.

Children in Syria are among the most vulnerable when disaster strikes. The earthquake comes at a time where two-thirds of the population are already struggling due to ongoing conflict, a harsh winter and difficult economic conditions.

UNICEF is responding to the urgent needs of children in Syria and Türkiye by providing shelter, protection, safe drinking water, nutrition and hygiene essentials. We need your support to reach more children affected by this disaster.
