Hello everyone! I've decided to host a fundraiser in support of Child Protection through UNICEF Canada. In every region of the world, UNICEF helps strengthen child-protection systems and reach millions of children at risk of trafficking, child labour, marriage, genital mutilation, being forced to serve in an armed groups, not having their birth registered, and other dangers. By working together to safeguard vulnerable kids, we are not just protecting them from harm - we are giving them their right to a childhood. UNICEF's work is possible because of donor support. That's why I'm asking for your help. My campaign is focused on helping the world’s most vulnerable children. 

I've chosen UNICEF because they reach the farthest for children in need. They exist for every child everywhere, without discrimination. They're able to work with governments and influence the private sector and decision-makers to do what's right. Whether it’s rescuing children from armed groups, supporting birth-registration programs in remote villages, or protecting girls against gender-based violence, UNICEF is there. It's amazing what fundraising can do! Tens of millions of children were reached last year, but so many more need help right now.
