Officially established in 2013, the Canada Youth Funding Association is a non-profit organization that aims to encourage leadership in youth through various events and opportunities. Most importantly, we want to foster our members' confidence in themselves and in their own abilities. We hope to achieve this by hosting numerous events such as a talent show, business competition, and coaching seminars to allow youths chances to express themselves creatively and professionally in a safe and supportive environment. 

For the past two years of our competition, we hope to not only inspire youths to realize their own potential to succeed but also the potential they have to change the lives of others. To do so, we are raising awareness for a platform that provides vulnerable youths support at critical times; for the second consecutive year, the CYFA nation-wide Youth Business Proposal Competition is an event held in support of UNICEF Canada. 

UNICEF works in over 190 countries around the world and provides children in the most inaccessible places with life-saving essentials like vaccines and clean water. When a disaster strikes, UNICEF is on the ground within hours providing emergency assistance to affected areas.
