Hello friends!
As people of action within Rotary District 5370, our Club members volunteer for the well-being of one another, our community, and the world. With most of our international service projects on hold because of COVID, we have decided to participate in the Rotary fundraising campaign to help eradicate COVID in the world in partnership with UNICEF.
Right now, we are in a race against time to deliver COVID-19 vaccines to every corner of the globe. More than 80% of eligible Canadians and 55% of world population have received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. The situation is more dire for families and communities in low-income countries, where only 6.2% of the population have received at least one dose. To end this pandemic, we must protect everyone – everywhere – from COVID-19, as no one is safe until we are all safe!
Your donation will help UNICEF deliver COVID-19 vaccines to millions of vulnerable people in low- and middle-income countries around the world who are still waiting for their first dose. At $1.27 CAD per single dose, your donation of $100 will fully vaccinate 40 people.
