I was born in Hagadera Refugee Camp in Dadaab, Kenya—one of the largest refugee settlements in the

world. UNICEF was there when I was born.

Because of the support my family received, I was given the opportunity to grow, continue my education,

and dream beyond displacement.I have never forgotten the girls across Africa whose dreams are just as bright, but whose path to

school—and to opportunity—remains uncertain.

For many girls, education is connected to something deeper.

It means having a safe place to learn.

It means dignity through access to essentials like clean bathrooms and menstrual hygiene supplies.

It means protection, confidence, and the chance to keep showing up for their future.

This fundraiser is deeply personal for me.

It is my way of giving back and standing with girls across Africa—girls with extraordinary potential who

deserve every opportunity to learn, lead, and thrive.

help provide safe learning spaces, school supplies, access to sanitation and hygiene, and support for

girls and families in overcoming barriers that keep girls in school and moving toward their future.

When a girl has safety, dignity, and access to education, incredible things happen.
